Scuba Diver Course – Two Ocean Dives
Pre-requisites:
- 10 years of age or older
- Medically fit to dive *See Medical
- No flying 18 hours after the dives
- Staying on Phi Phi Island for 2 nights

Knowledge
For this course, you will be provided with the PADI e-Learning ‘PADI Open Water (no video)’ Product which can be completed at home but also here in your hotel room. You create an on www.padi.com and start learning right away!
This product is the Open Water Course manual however you are only required to complete Sections 1, 2 and 3 of the manual for the Scuba Diver Certification. There are accompanying knowledge reviews and quizzes at the end of each chapter to test your knowledge.
Additionally, you will watch Open Water Videos 1, 2 and 3 which we will send you by email link.
New Skills
After the theory you will practice 15 new scuba skills off the shallow waters Cabana Beach near the pier. Each skill builds on the other and we guarantee small groups to ensure you get the most out of your training in addition to personalized instruction.
Our sessions are held between 7.30am and 11am or in the afternoons from 1pm and it is a great way to start your dive journey!
Additionally, a 10 minute float is required for certification in water too deep to stand.
The Fun Stuff!
Finally, you will practice your new skills over two 12 metres dives to explore our stunning reefs! You will find out what all the hard work is about and be rewarded with thousands of species of amazing marine life! Hop on our boat as we head to Phi Phi Leh and the Bida Islands just 20 minutes away.
In between dives you can enjoy your lunch in a beautiful bay around Phi Phi Ley.
Scuba Diver Course to Open Water Course Upgrade
Upgrading later to a Full Open Water License from Scuba Diver takes just one more day!
If you love your dives so much and wish to continue to the full Open Water Certification, you simply need to complete sections 4 + 5 of the theory, videos and final exam. Of course, one last pool session to finish all your skills before 2 more training dives to 18 metres, after which you will be certified as an Open Water Diver!
In fact, you already own the learning materials for the course, therefore you pay the difference in the course price and can continue with the same instructor.
If you are coming to the island to book an upgrade from Scuba Diver to Open Water, then you will pay 8,000 THB

NATIONAL PARK FEES are not included in trip prices.
Please bring cash to the pier on the day of diving to pay National Park Rangers directly and keep your ticket in case you wish to visit Maya Beach on the same day, or dive again tomorrow.
