Join our PADI Divemaster Course in Koh Phi Phi and take the first step toward becoming a professional diver. Over 4–6 weeks, you’ll work closely with experienced instructors to refine your dive skills, build leadership abilities, and gain real-world experience in daily dive operations. This course is also integrated with our ongoing Ocean Conservation Projects, giving you a well-rounded foundation as an eco-conscious dive pro.

What You’ll Learn in the PADI Divemaster Course
Classroom Theory
You’ll complete modules on dive supervision, safety, risk management, and environmental awareness. Topics include “The Role of the PADI Divemaster Course,” “The Business of Diving,” and “Dive Theory.” You’ll also create an Emergency Assistance Plan for the local area.
Water Skills and Practical Assessments
From timed swims to deep dive scenarios, skill demos, and rescue refreshers — you’ll train both in confined water and open water. You’ll lead briefings, guide certified divers, and assist instructors during actual PADI courses. By the end, you’ll log at least 60 dives and be confident in real-world dive leadership.
Internship & Career Opportunities
After certification, you can stay on for a 2-week internship and apply your skills as a working Divemaster. You’ll get real experience with boat logistics, dive shop duties, and guiding fun dives. Many of our PADI Divemaster course grads continue on to the Instructor Development Course (IDC).
Requirements & Schedule for Divemaster Course
Candidates must be 18+, with at least 40 logged dives, PADI Advanced Open Water, PADI Rescue Diver, and current CPR/First Aid training. You must also submit a physician-signed medical statement within 12 months. The full course is usually completed over 4–6 weeks.

Tour Details
It is very important that all of our divers are covered by insurance, specifically for all scuba activities. Divemaster Trainees must have insurance that covers scuba diving however if you do not have Diving Insurance we can help to arrange that for you.
Your PADI subscription Fees are NOT included in the price and is to be paid yearly to remain current as a PADI Divemaster. The Divemaster Application Fee is made payable to PADI each year (AU$159).
Before you become a professional diver, you must gain clearance from a Physician before you are certified regardless if you answer YES or NO to the Medical Questionnaire.
