Maya Beach Sunset Plankton – 6 hour private longtail tour is a relaxing trip, giving you more time to enjoy your favourite spots. Visit the iconic spots, and a few hidden bays to enjoy sunset before you dnd your day with a scenic sunset cruise. Not to mention a glowing night swim in waters lit by bioluminescent plankton. This trip is ideal for families, couples, and friends looking for something truly unique.

What to Expect on the Sunset Plankton Phi Phi Tour:
The afternoon begins with snorkeling at iconic locations like Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, and Pileh Lagoon. If you choose to visit Maya Beach, we can enter via Loh Samah in the late afternoon before closing, then conditions allow, we’ll also visit Maya Bay. As the sun begins to set, we cruise through the warm ocean waters before ending the day with a night swim in a glowing bay surrounded by bioluminescent plankton.

6 hours gives you more time and flexibility on the trip with your friends and family, stop as long as you like and the places you find the most relaxing! This 6 hour trip to allow time to visit Maya Beach on foot.
You need to account for queues to enter and pay a National Park Fee, but your longtail captain will wait for your return in Loh Samah Bay before sunset. Maya Beach closes at 5pm so it tends to be less busy in the late afternoon.
You can spot marine life while snorkeling, unwind on the boat at sunset, and finish the day with a plankton swim near Monkey Beach.

Maya Beach Sunset Plankton ~ Itinerary:
- 10 mins before departure – Meet your captain at our Meeting Point at the main pier
- Stop 1 – Drive by Monkey Beach
- Stop 2 – Viking Cave
- Stop 3 – Pileh Lagoon
- Stop 4 – Drive to Loh Samah Bay
- Stop 5 – Enter Maya Beach on foot (pay 400 THB per person) *Optional
- Or- Drive to Maya Bay to snorkel, take photos and Fresh Fruit
- High Season Option – Visit Wang Long Bay or Nui Beach
- 6pm – 6.30pm – Golden hour sunset at sea
- 6.30pm – 7pm – Night swim with glowing plankton and back to shore

Itinerary can change according to weather, wind and tides. Your captain will choose a suitable snorkel spot along the route.
Seasonal Information:
- High Season Nov – May: Wind/Waves come from the east, Maya Bay is mostly sheltered
- Green Season June – Oct: Wind/Waves from the west, Maya Bay may be inaccessible some days.
- Weather and Wildlife – We cannot control the conditions, wildlife and weather on the day.
- Maya Bay Closes for 2 months each year *August – September 2025*
