Junior Advanced Open Water – PADI Course for Young Divers in Phi Phi
After completing the Junior Open Water Course, young divers can take the next step with our Junior Advanced Open Water program in Phi Phi. It’s an exciting way to explore new underwater challenges and grow as a diver — all under the guidance of patient, professional instructors.

What’s Included in the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Course
This junior diving course focuses on real diving, not classroom time. Over three days, your child will complete five exciting open water dives:
- Deep Dive – up to 21m (for kids under 15)
- Navigation Dive – compass and natural navigation skills
- Three electives like:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Underwater Photography
- Boat Diver
- Night Diving or Plankton Glow Dive
- Wreck Diving
- Fish ID or Naturalist
Kid-Friendly Dive Limits
Children aged 10–14 can complete the deep dive to a maximum of 21 meters. At age 15, this automatically upgrades to 30 meters. All dives are guided by experienced instructors in small groups for safety and fun.

Certain medical conditions may prevent you from scuba diving such as asthma and heart conditions. Even if you are joining us for Conservation Diving, we need to know if you are taking any medications, or if you are are unsure about your fitness to dive. So please read the RSTC Diving Medical Questionnaire. Finally, if you answer YES to any to anything please print the form and take it to your physician.
