Why Take the PADI Deep Diver Specialty?
This diving specialty teaches you how to safely dive beyond 18 metres and down to a maximum of 40 metres. You’ll learn how to plan deep dives, manage air supply, identify and react to nitrogen narcosis, and handle emergency situations. These are crucial skills for any diver wanting to explore deeper marine environments such as wrecks, walls, or pinnacles.
Already Completed Your Adventure Deep Diver Phi Phi?
If you’ve already done the Adventure Deep Dive, then you only need to complete three additional training dives and one fun dive to finish your certification.
Try an Adventure Dive First
If you’re unsure about committing to the full specialty, you can start with a one-dive Adventure Dive. It counts toward both your Deep Diver Specialty and your Advanced Open Water Course. That way, you can experience the thrill of diving deeper without pressure.

Completing the Deep Diver course opens up access to dive sites that are typically out of reach for standard open water divers. It enhances your skills and helps you explore deeper reefs and structures with confidence and safety.
