Our PADI Dive Centre is located just 10 minutes from town, surrounded by the quiet nature of Viewpoint Resort overlooking Loh Dalum Bay.
It’s worth the trip as the views, especially at sunset, are unreal! Unlike other dive centres on Phi Phi, when you visit our 360 veranda, you see breathtaking views. No time to visit? Don’t worry as we are the only dive centre with fully remote booking system; from the comfort of your room!

Our Story
Founded in 2006 by Clare West, Blue View’s ethos of safe, eco-friendly diving in small groups with community in mind still shapes what we do today. Our long-standing commitment to sustainable diving and professional training continues under Caroline, who started off in 2008 as a Divemaster. Now owner/manager, she remains an active PADI Staff Instructor with a deep passion for conservation and community. Co-owners P’Nok & Kris also run our sister shop, Adang Sea Divers (Koh Lipe) – testament to our shared values across south Thailand
Where to Find Us
You’ll find Blue View Divers at the northernmost tip of Loh Dalum Bay, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea. Because Koh Phi Phi is 50 km from both Phuket and Krabi, divers must plan to stay at least one night on the island to join our trips — and trust us, you’ll want more than just one.

Dive Community
We are active in the local dive community, dedicating time to marine conservation. In Caroline’s spare time, she assists with the removal of fishing nets, traps, and reinstallation of moorings.
The original President of the Phi Phi Dive Committee (2017) Caroline helped establish safety standards, improving dive operations and conservation. Working with National Park & DMCR, including volunteering for rehabilitation at Maya Beach.
In recognition of these efforts, she proudly accepted a marine conservation award on behalf of the Phi Phi Dive Committee in June 2025, honoring their long-standing contribution to protecting Thailand’s marine ecosystems.
Thai Dive Team
We love building opportunities for aspiring Thai Dive professionals. With the support of PADI, we offer internships and professional training to Thai’s eager to enter & grow in the dive industry. Our Interns begin their journey here are now thriving as in-demand professionals with amazing skill in finding rare species. Our Thai Divemaster Pu is a valued member of our team along with our new intern ‘Bom’.
Training Locals to Dive
Blue View was founded with a strong community focus through the original founders who helped certify the Phi Phi Rescue Team in scuba diving, believing that local knowledge and access to training were essential for both safety and sustainability. That ethos continues today. We proudly offer free try dives and PADI certifications to local Thai residents who are passionate about the ocean but may not have the means to explore it. By opening the underwater world to those who call Phi Phi home, we help create the next generation of divers, guides, and ocean advocates — right here in our community.
Our Dive Boat 'Dory'
Our newly refurbished bigger dive boat ‘Dory’ is designed for comfort without losing the personal Blue View touch. With space for up to 24 divers, Dory is perfect for group trips, courses, and fun diving while offering the cozy, friendly feel we’re known for. Dory maintains the small-group atmosphere that defines our dive experiences. There’s plenty of room to relax between dives, plus shaded areas, dry storage, and all essential safety gear onboard. Captained by the experienced and trusted Leaf, with our in-house mechanic Sea keeping everything running smoothly.
Our Longtail Boat 'Georgie'
Georgie is our custom-built dive longtail – a favourite for those wanting an authentic Blue View experience. As the original longtail dive operator on the island, we still love this intimate way of diving. Georgie accommodates up to 8 divers and if perfect for exploring different sites that big boats don’t dive daily. Fully equipped with tank racks, water, First Aid, O2, spare kit, life jackets, and dry bags. She’s captained by licensed, First Aid-certified locals who know every corner of the island like the back of their hand.
Our Infinity Training Pool
Our PADI Dive Centre has a beautiful training pool on site. Our stunning infinity pool overlooks Loh Dalum Bay. A perfect place to begin your underwater journey. Beach training is also available for a real ocean feel right from the start!
A key part of our philosophy for accessible diving for all is providing correct stepping stones for first timers. Morning pool training from 9am – 11am provide a comfortable and safe environment for your introduction to scuba diving.

Our Diver Insurance
At Blue View Divers, your safety is our top priority and you should be informed about the importance of being insured for scuba diving. All our divers are offered opt-in Bangkok Bank insurance, which provides basic accident coverage on a reimbursement basis, free of charge. This is intended for major incidents such as DCS (decompression sickness) but may not cover minor costs upfront.
For more comprehensive protection, we highly recommend international-standard insurance through INDEPTHS, DiveAssure, or Divemaster Insurance, available from just 300 THB/day with flexible weekly or monthly options. These plans cover medical emergencies, DCS treatment, and include direct payment to providers. Learn more at www.indepths.org.
If you already have your own travel or dive insurance, please let us know on your booking form, especially if it offers better coverage than the standard Bangkok Bank policy.
