Pre-requisites – PADI Open Water + PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) + Current CPR/First Aid (EFR)
Building upon what you have already learned in previous diving and First Aid courses, this course teaches you how to recognise and prevent diver problems.
More importantly, you will learn and how to manage them if they occur. This is the first time as a recreational diver you must start thinking about other divers just like yourself.

KNOWLEDGE
We start on dry land reviewing the Rescue Course DVD and accompanying manual. There are 5 chapters and you must complete the knowledge reviews for each chapter. You will learn how to create an Emergency Action Plan for the local area followed by a final exam.

NEW SKILLS
The course reviews self rescue techniques first followed by techniques on how to rescue other divers.
You practice in confined water sessions off the beach and off our boat, learn how to recognize diver stress or panic in others and the correct way to respond.
You will practice new rescue skills including navigation techniques, in water breathing procedures and search and recovery patterns.
Your instructor will have you practice off our dive boat out on our daily dive trips and incorporate skills sequence into real life practice scenarios.

THE FUN STUFF!
Put together all that you have learnt in two simulated emergencies. Practice and review the skills that you have learnt before building them into fluid real-time rescue scenarios.
It is a seriously fun course which will transform the way you think about diving!

If you answer YES to any to any questions listed then you must print out the RSTC Medical form and take it to your physician prior to coming to Thailand.
