The PADI Scuba Diver Course is halfway between Discover Scuba Diving and the Full Open Water Course. In fact, you gain a license to dive around the world to a depth of 12 metres while under the supervision of a dive Professional. It is essentially more than half of your PADI Open Water Course, including theory, pool work and 2 Open Water dives to 12 metres.
Once you complete the PADI SCUBA Diver course you can upgrade at anytime in your life to the PADI Open Water Course. Not to mention, you will already have all the learning materials in your PADI e-learning account. Therefore you won’t need to purchase any more course material in the future!

KNOWLEDGE
Firstly, start with knowledge development through PADI e-Learning which can be completed at home and also here in your hotel room. Next step is to stream the videos separately at home or at our stunning ocean front classroom. There are three theory modules with the accompanying chapter, video and also three short quizzes.

NEW SKILLS
After the theory you will practice 15 new scuba skills in our infinity pool which overlooks the Andaman Sea. Our pool sessions are held between 8am and 11am and It is a great way to start your day!
Additionally, a 10 minute float is required for certification!

Finally, you will practice your new skills over two 12 metres dives to explore our stunning reefs! Hop on our boat as we head to Phi Phi Leh and the Bida Islands just 20 minutes away.

Upgrade Scuba Diver Course to Open Water Course
Upgrading later to a Full Open Water Licence from Scuba Diver takes just one more day! Furthermore, you only need a couple more hours theory followed by a brief pool session. Finally, after 2 more training dives to 18 metres, you will be certified as an Open Water Diver!
In fact, you already own the learning materials for the course, therefore you pay only for the certification!

If you are currently taking any medications, or are unsure about your fitness to dive, please have a look at the Diving Medical Questionnaire. If you answer YES to any to any questions listed then you must print out the RSTC Medical form and take it to your physician prior to coming to Thailand.

Will I get to see alot at 12 metres?
Absolutely not! Most marine life on Koh Phi Phi is between 5 – 15 metres. You will see so much marine life in the shallow waters that it will blow your mind! Additionally, the turtles and sharks love the shallow reefs.
What equipment is provided?
We will provide all the scuba gear that you will need including mask, fins, snorkel, BCD, wetsuit and regulator. Additionally we provide you with a dive computer necessary for planning dives and keeping you safe.
Can I upgrade to the Open Water Diver certification later?
Yes! Scuba Diver certification can be upgraded to Open Water certification with additional training. This allows individuals to advance their skills and capabilities in scuba diving.
