SCUBA Diver Course

Scuba Diver Course starting every day! Your 12 metres certification is only than 2 days away

This was our second time diving with Blue View because we got our Open Water in 2017. I can’t say enough good things about Blue View! From the dive guides to the boat crews, delicious lunch and small groups, everything was perfect! In addition, Caroline was extremely helpful booking our diving as well as private boat excursion which helped us get the most of our time in Phi Phi. In addition our dive guide Niki was very knowledgeable of the dive sites and we had a great day diving with her! I can’t recommend Blue View enough.

What is the PADI Scuba Diver Course?

The PADI Scuba Diver Course is an entry-level scuba diving certification which allows individuals to explore the underwater world with the guidance of a PADI professional.

Who is the PADI Scuba Diver Course for?

This course is for you to get your scuba license when you don’t have time to complete the full Open Water Diver certification. It’s an excellent option for those looking for a shorter and less intensive introduction to diving. Additionally, it is perfect for younger or older divers who prefer to be under professional supervision at shallower dive depths!

What are the prerequisites for the Scuba Diver Course?

Participants must be at least 10 years old and in good physical health. No experience is necessary which makes it a perfect first step for beginners. Additionally, there is a 10 minute floating test to check your water skills.

What does the course curriculum cover?

The curriculum includes three main modules. Firstly, knowledge development, followed by confined water dives, and finally your open water dives. Participants learn basic dive theory, essential scuba skills, and gain practical experience in both controlled environments and open water.

How long does it take to complete the course?

The PADI Scuba Diver Course typically takes 1 – 1 1/2 days to complete because you can complete your e-learning in advance! The schedule may vary based on individual progress and instructor availability.

Will I get to see alot at 12 metres?

Absolutely not! Most marine life on Koh Phi Phi is between 5 – 15 metres. You will see so much marine life in the shallow waters that it will blow your mind! Additionally, the turtles and sharks love the shallow reefs.

            What equipment is provided?

We will provide all the scuba gear that you will need including mask, fins, snorkel, BCD, wetsuit and regulator. Additionally we provide you with a dive computer necessary for planning dives and keeping you safe.

Can I upgrade to the Open Water Diver certification later?
