Being an Eco-friendly dive centre!
Blue View Divers have been active in eco and environmental projects both above and below the waters of Phi Phi Island since it’s opening.
Conservation is our passion, having been working in diving and around the ocean for many years we want to do as much as possible in order to protect and preserve it!
The best place I could have picked to do my PADI course, the staff are amazing and the underwater life is incredible! Not only that but Blue View are super eco friendly and I learned a lot about how they are active in recycling trash like making bricks out of old plastic bottles I spent a morning with them collecting plastic bottles, flip flops and other rubbish from a beach because they are part of Trash Heros which is a project throughout Thailand. It was super nice to be a part ofThank you Blue Viewhaveacuppatea 5 Star Trip Advisor Review January 2019
Trash Hero Phi Phi
Blue View Divers proudly supports Trash Hero on Phi Phi helping to organise the weekly clean up, promoting the Trash Hero Bottle Project and assisting National Park with Trash Hero Clean ups on Maya Bay.
PADI Green Star Award
In 2012 Blue View Divers was awarded with the PADI Green Star Award for our conservation and Ecological efforts. We are proud to be the only Dive Centre on Koh Phi Phi with the PADI Green Star Award!
Blue View Divers has teamed up with Ocean Quest Global in order to help regenerate Coral. We assist in the Marine parks efforts to regrow the coral in Maya Bay. We also run Coral Conservation Course in our dive centre.
Our daily dive trips include a lunch break on one of the beautiful tropical beaches of Koh Phi Phi Ley. Unfortunately some of these beaches are littered with rubbish and debris carried in by the tides or discarded by careless tourists. Blue View Divers also conduct regular beach cleanups on Phi Phi Don which our customers are more than welcome to participate in. Help us Keep Phi Phi Beautiful! Read our blog
Shark Guardian Centre
In 2013 Blue View Divers became Koh Phi Phi first Shark Guardian Centre. We try to raise money and awareness about the decline of our shark population around the world.
Since Blue View Divers has open we have always been proactive in offering free SCUBA diving course to thai locals. We certified a lot of local Thai people over the year many become and working as professional divers. During this time most of the Thai interns we taught were always men so this PADI Women’s Day 2016 we offered free try dives from Local Thai Women. From this we hope to get a few new female Thai divers.
Phi Phi Island Protection and Conservation Team
We are a active member of the Phi Phi Island Protection and Conservation Team which started in 2015 to try to help protect the coral reefs and marine life around Koh Phi Phi National Marine Park. The local community are determined to help protect these islands and encourage visitors to do the same. Weekly cleanups are being organised and divers are installing mooring buoys and managing activities on the reefs. Visit their Facebook page
