Manta and Whale Shark Madness

2009 has been a good year for Whale Sharks and Manta Rays, the high season brought us a wealth of sightings especially in May when we had 12 consecutive days of Mantas and Whale Sharks seen at Hin Daeng and Muang. There has been more sightings in the past year than there has been in previous years in Koh Phi Phi, this is an unusual occurrence that we hope will continue into the rest of the year!

Tee is doing well as he studies hard in Bangkok, and is touch every week or so to get updated on goings and to catch up his with hsi extended family.

Tee managed to get some practice in taking Kathleen out to the dive sites, hope it all helps when he's Captaining container ship around the world in the years to come.

Captain Tee gets to grips with Kathleen

Kim McMenemy

Kim has been working in Blue View Divers as an instructor and conservation officer and her charisma and vibrant personality made her memorable for all her students that she has taught in Blue View.
She has now left and is currently working in diving in the Philippines, if any of her students would like to get in contact with her, we will be more than happy to forward your emails on to her
.
