We love to take kids diving here on Koh Phi Phi as it really is a great place for your children to learn to dive. Having a beautiful shallow infinity pool is an ideal place to take your first steps in diving.

We offer small groups and our friendly instructors enjoy taking kids diving on their first dive experience. Please view all the different activities we have to offer in our ‘Kids Zone’ for your children.
For anyone beginning in diving we require you to view our Medical Statement first.
Children younger than 8 years old are too young to dive but there is no age limit on snorkelling!
Snorkeling around Koh Phi Phi you will see lots of beautiful marine life including tropical butterfly fish, damsel fish, clown fish (Nemo!)Black Tip Reef Sharks & Hawkbills turtles. None of the sea life around Koh Phi Phi is aggressive or dangerous and our sharks are small reef sharks. So there is no need to worry.
This is the first step in diving for young kids. They get to try out all the equipment first and have a swim around our swimming pool, and play some underwater games. This is a great way to start your kids diving!
PADI Discover SCUBA Diving is a diving experience that is a stepping stone to the PADI Open Water Course. This involves a few basic skill taught in our pool and 2 dives, to a maximum of 12 metres, out in Koh Phi Phi’s National Marine Park.
From the age of 10, we can take your kids diving as they complete the full PADI Open Water Course. Once certified, your child will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres but must dive with a certified adult. Then when they turn 12 years old they can dive to 18 metres.
If your child is already 12 years old then they can complete their PADI Open Water course and be certified to 18 metre by the end of the course.
If you child has already completed the PADI Junior Open Water Course. They can rom the age of 12 your child can complete the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Course. Please view our Adventure dives section for the choice of 5 dives.
For the deep dive if your child is under 15 years old they can go to a maximum depth of 21 metres.
Since 15th July 2017, Phi Phi National Marine Park Rangers have been charging an entry fee for divers and snorkelers in the Marine Park. Divers and snorkelers from dive boats arriving from Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Krabi and Phuket must pay 400 THB for a 3 day park ticket PLUS additional 200 THB / day for divers, as reported HERE.

This new charge is not included in our current pricing and is to be paid directly, in cash, to Park Rangers at the pier. Please take this into consideration when you are booking diving on the island and thank you for your support of Phi Phi National Park!
