PADI SCUBA DIVER COURSE
Interested in doing a PADI Dive Course but are short on time? A scuba diving license is less than 2 days away!
I finally got the courage up to learn to scuba dive after meeting Caroline and the team at Blue View Divers. First lesson was in the pool (ideal for beginners like me) followed by four gentle ocean dives. Natalie is such a kind, funny and patient instructor, I never felt rushed and I always felt safe. The water was warm and the sea life was rich and beautiful. I’m now ready (after too many years being afraid to try) to get my diving certificate! Thank you so much Natalie 🙂CatherineH, 5* Trip Advisor, February 2019
PADI SCUBA Diver Course

The PADI Scuba Diver Course is halfway between Discover Scuba Diving and the Full Open Water Course. Gain a license to dive around the world to a maximum depth of 12 metres learning to dive under the supervision of a PADI Instructor. It is essentially more than half of your PADI Open Water Course, with theory, pool work and 2 Open Water dives to 12 metres.
Once you complete the PADI SCUBA Diver course you can upgrade at anytime in your life to the PADI Open Water Course.
Your course begins with knowledge development through instructor led theory sessions. Our classroom has stunning ocean views however you can also self study in the comfort of your own room as we have portable DVD players. There are three modules of theory to work through with the accompanying manual and three short quizzes.
You receive your own digital copy of the PADI Manual by email, called a PADI EBOOK.
After the theory you will practice 15 new scuba skills in our pool. The infinity pool overlooks the Andaman Sea with pool sessions held between 8am and 11am. It is a great way to start your day!
A 10 minute float is required for certification!
THE FUN STUFF!
Finally, you will practice your new skills over 2 Open Water dives and explore our stunning reefs! Hop on our boat as we head to Phi Phi Leh and the Bida Islands, only 20 minutes away. To complete your training dives you will practice buoyancy and emergency skills.
The two dives are to a maximum depth of 12 metres. In between dives you can enjoy your lunch on a beautiful beach or bay on Phi Phi Ley.
Upgrade to Open Water Course
Upgrading later to a Full Open Water Licence from Scuba Diver requires another half day of theory, some pool work and 2 more Open Water dives to 18 metres in any PADI Dive School!
